Why GardenBase

The quiet advantages of a real workshop

Carpenters on payroll

Nothing is farmed out. The person who measures your space works ten metres from the person who cuts your panels.

Honest timber, honest prices

We quote line by line — carcass, doors, hardware, finishing — so you can see exactly where every ringgit goes.

Built for this climate

Moisture-resistant boards indoors, kiln-dried teak and balau outdoors. Humidity is designed in, not discovered later.

Drawings before deposits

You approve scaled drawings and material samples before we ask for a sen beyond the measurement stage.

Five-year backbone

Joinery and frames are covered for five years. If a joint loosens, we come back and make it right.

Tidy installations

Floors sheeted, dust extracted, rubbish removed. We leave your home the way we found it — plus new furniture.

Handcrafted timber pergola lounge with lanterns at dusk in a Malaysian garden

The garden is a room too

Most furniture makers stop at the sliding door. We don't. Teak loungers, planter benches, outdoor kitchens and pergola seating — sealed for sun, rain and everything the Malaysian sky can throw at them.

Client words

What homeowners and managers tell us

“The wardrobe fits our odd sloping ceiling perfectly — two other companies said it couldn't be done. Three years on, the doors still glide like new.”
Amirah R.Mont Kiara, condominium wardrobe
“Our teak dining set has sat uncovered on the terrace through two rainy seasons. A light oiling once a year and it honestly looks better with age.”
Daniel & Mei Lin T.Shah Alam, garden furniture
“They fitted out our reception and two meeting rooms over a single weekend so we never closed. Clients comment on the counter almost daily.”
Kavitha S.Bangsar South, office fit-out
Questions

Things people ask before commissioning

Can't find your question here? Write to us — a real person replies within one working day.

How long does a custom furniture project take?

Most single pieces such as a wardrobe or TV console take 3 to 5 weeks from confirmed drawings to installation. Full kitchens and multi-room projects usually run 6 to 10 weeks depending on materials and finishing.

Do you charge for measurement and quotation?

No. Site measurement within the Klang Valley and a detailed written quotation are free of charge, and the quote carries no obligation.

Which areas do you serve?

We build everything in Sungai Buloh and install across Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Klang, Puchong, Cyberjaya and Putrajaya. For projects outside these areas, contact us and we will confirm feasibility.

Can you build furniture that survives outdoors in Malaysian weather?

Yes. Outdoor work is one of our specialities. We use teak, balau and powder-coated aluminium with marine-grade finishes, and every garden piece is sealed against humidity, rain and UV before it leaves the workshop.

Do you provide a warranty?

Every piece carries a 5-year structural warranty covering joinery and frames, plus a 1-year warranty on hardware such as hinges, runners and lift systems.

Can I supply my own design or reference photos?

Absolutely. Many clients bring a photo, a sketch or a Pinterest board. Our designers redraw it to suit your exact space, budget and material preferences before anything is cut.
